Solution for your Tar stain

Avoid the following methods for removing tar

Various home remedies for removing tar stains can be found on the internet. Although some of these methods are often recommended, they can damage surfaces and even make the problem worse. We therefore advise against using the following products to remove tar stains:

  • WD-40: this lubricant is sometimes recommended for removing tar, especially on hard surfaces such as metal or plastic. Unfortunately, WD-40 can leave behind grease residue that is difficult to remove, and it can make the surface slippery and difficult to clean.
  • White spirit: although white spirit is powerful at dissolving stains, it can have aggressive properties that damage surfaces such as painted wood and certain plastics. In addition, the vapours can be harmful if inhaled and can leave unpleasant odours.

Instead of these methods, we recommend using specially developed products such as James Remover, which are safe and effective without risk of damage to the surface.
