James Stainwonder is a powerful stain remover for stains such as coffee, tea, fruit, red wine, and blood. The product penetrates deep into the stain, oxidizes residual dyes, and encapsulates solids and residues from old cleaning agents. As a result, even older or set-in stains can often still be removed effectively.
James Stainwonder is suitable for natural and synthetic fabrics, including wool. The product is biodegradable, A.I.S.E.-certified, and does not cause re-contamination due to residual product. Ideal for targeted stain removal on carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

When should you use James Stainwonder?
Use James Stainwonder when there is a visible stain on carpet, a rug, or upholstery fabric. This product is particularly suitable for stains that contain dye or are caused by water-based liquids. Think of a glass of red wine spilled on the rug, coffee on the couch, tea on the carpet, or fruit stains on a chair.

How do you use James Stainwonder?
It is best to use James Stainwonder on a dry surface. First, test the material in an inconspicuous place to check its colourfastness and durability. Apply the product undiluted to the dry stain by placing the bottle’s opening directly on the stain.
Then let James Stainwonder soak in and dry. The product lasts for about 12 hours. Repeat the treatment if necessary. For wool, James recommends covering the treated area with a damp terrycloth towel as soon as the stain has disappeared, and leaving it in place until it is completely dry. For upholstery fabric, a damp terry cloth towel can also help prevent water stains.

Should I blot a fresh stain first before using James Stainwonder?
No, James does not recommend dabbing a fresh stain. We recommend treating fresh stains that can be treated with water first using a damp, white cotton terry cloth towel. By placing the towel flat on the stain and leaving it there until it is completely dry, the stain can gradually be absorbed out of the fabric.
Is there still a stain visible after the towel has dried completely? In that case, you can treat it with James Stainwonder according to the instructions.
Why do I have to let the product sit for so long?
James Stainwonder doesn’t just work on the surface; it needs time to tackle any remaining dyes and residues deep within the fibers. That is why the result can continue to improve as the item dries.
Can I mix James Stainwonder with other cleaning products?
No, do not mix James stainwonder with other products. This may interfere with the medication’s effectiveness or cause unwanted side effects. Always use one product at a time and follow the instructions for the specific type of stain.
What should I do if the stain is still visible after one treatment?
Let the area dry completely and repeat the treatment if necessary. Older or deeply set stains, in particular, may require multiple treatments before the final result is visible.
Can James stainwonder cause rings on upholstery fabric?
When working with upholstery fabric, it’s important to work neatly and evenly. Apply James Stainwonder to the stain, and then use a damp terry cloth towel soaked in James Stainwonder to cover the area. This helps prevent water spots.

I bought a new white sofa set, and after just a few days, it already had stains… one that I was sure was red wine and an unknown stain that I suspect came from a piece of cake—so a butter stain… For the red wine, I used the stainwonder; for the grease stain, the stainspray… both stains are gone! Last week, a glass of red wine spilled on our thick-pile wool rug. First step: blot with paper towels and sprinkle salt over it. The next day, a large dark blue spot. Then I went online to search and found your miracle cure. What caught my eye on your site was a comment that a red wine stain treated with salt would NEVER come out…… The next day, I went ahead and bought James Stainwonder in our village and, that evening, poured practically the entire bottle over it. There was little hope for a happy ending, but the next morning there was absolutely nothing—not a trace—left to be seen!! Maybe you should change the text on your site after all, because your product was the first big miracle of 2019 for us.
A fantastic remedy. Hot black coffee spilled on our new carpet. I've tried everything, but nothing worked! And it actually worked with stainwonder. First, place a damp towel over it—leave it there all night until the towel and carpet are dry again. Then I applied the stainwonder {druppelen}and let it dry again. Then I vacuumed, and… stain 1 was gone!
I'm absolutely thrilled. Luckily, a whole cup of hot (!) coffee spilled onto our cream-colored, pure wool Kathall rug! First, I dabbed it dry and used (lime-free) water and a terry cloth towel to soak up the worst of it. Once it had dried, a large stain remained visible.
