How do you use James Stainspray?
Use James Stainspray undiluted. First test the material in an inconspicuous area for color and material fastness. For chewing gum, glue, tar, or paint, spray briefly under and on the stain. Let the product work for about five minutes and then carefully scrape away the loosened dirt with a spoon.
For stains such as felt-tip pen, shoe polish, oil, floor wax, or ink, spray James Stainspray onto a white terry cloth towel. Then rub the stain out of the material with calm, long strokes. Repeat the treatment if necessary and always work with a clean part of the towel.

Why shouldn't you use James Stainspray directly with water?
Oil and grease-based stains often do not dissolve well in water. By using James Stainspray first, you loosen the greasy or sticky contamination before further treating the spot.
Why should I work with calm, long strokes?
This prevents you from rubbing the stain deeper into the fiber or unnecessarily roughening the fabric. Calm, long strokes help to transfer the contamination to the towel in a controlled manner.
Can I use James Stainspray on wool?
Yes, James Stainspray is suitable for natural materials, including wool. Always test on an inconspicuous area first and work carefully to ensure the material responds well.
What should I do if a color stain remains visible after use?

Can I treat multiple chewing gum or glue spots at once?
Yes, that’s possible. For multiple spots, you can let James Stainspray work on several stains at once. Then remove the loosened dirt spot by spot with a spoon and treat any residues with a white terry cloth towel.
