How do you use James Home Butler liquid?
First, vacuum the carpet, rug or upholstery thoroughly, preferably using the brush setting. Then check, in an inconspicuous place, whether the material is colourfast and resistant to wear and tear. Add James Home Butler liquid to the clean water tank of the James Home Butler Pro, following the dosage instructions on the packaging.
Next, clean the surface using the spray-extraction function. The machine feeds the water and cleaning solution into the fibres and immediately sucks up the loosened dirt. Work calmly and treat the surface evenly. Allow the material to dry completely before using it again. Ensure there is adequate ventilation during and after cleaning.

Can I use the Home Butler Pro without Home Butler Liquid?
Yes, you can also use the machine with just water. For visibly better results, we recommend Home Butler Liquid, as it loosens dirt and stains more effectively.
Do I need to rinse the equipment after use?
Yes, we’d recommend rinsing the machine after each use to remove any dirt or residue. Please follow the guidance on the product packaging and the instructions for your specific machine. If in doubt, you can rinse with clean water again after cleaning, so that any loose residue is removed thoroughly.
Can I use Home Butler Liquid on localised stains?
Home Butler Liquid is primarily intended for the machine cleaning of larger surfaces. For specific stains, first use James Stainwonder for water-based stains or James Stainspray for oil and grease-based stains.
How can I prevent upholstery fabric from getting too wet?
Work gently, but do not use more liquid than is necessary. Thoroughly wipe down the treated surface with the machine and ensure there is good ventilation. Do not use the furniture again until the fabric is completely dry.
Can I also use Home Butler Liquid in a different spray-extraction machine?
