James participated in the European project SusProNet from 2002 until 2005. SusProNet is a thematic network of industry and institutions that participated in a 5th Framework Program (FP5).

The participants in SusProNet exchange knowledge from certain developments, design and product-service systems. The latter was an important issue, since more and more products are being sold including service!

Companies were divided in certain target groups, like for instance nutrition, housekeeping and ICT. James shared her knowledge with companies also involved in housekeeping.

In addition, it was valuable for James to create an international network with other SMEs in Europe. In two years time, several seminars were organized in which James participated.
