Hygiene for health

James participates in the Hygiene for Health project since 2007. From the German region NRW the Fachhochschule Niederrhein, together with the wfk-Forschungsinstitut für Reinigungstechnologie e.V. in cooperation with LIOF, has applied for an Interreg project titled ‘Hygiene for Health’. This project is being performed in the broadest sense of the word.

In this project, knowledge exchange takes place between SMEs from Limburg (The Netherlands) and knowledge institutes from Limburg and North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany). TNO Eindhoven investigates product development, materials (including coatings, metals and plastics), and ultimately cleaning processes for medical products.

The SMEs can deposit issues with varying subjects at these knowledge institutes, after which a solution is sought cooperatively.
