01
Cause
Incorrect maintenance of laminate, vinyl, PVC or LVT flooring creates friction with the floor which is often intensified by certain footwear.
02
Explanation
Due to a certain friction between the shoe and the hard floor a squeaking, creaking or other disturbing sound can be heard.
03
Solution

This treatment may not solve the problem completely or may only be a temporary. If the floor in its original state was already slippery and a disturbing noise was already noticeable with certain footwear this problem cannot be solved by this method. Don’t panic, we have another ace up our sleeve! Applying a protective layer by means of James Extra Matt or James Semi Gloss is then another option. Applying a protective layer adjusts the degree of friction between the shoes and the hard floor, which in most cases solves or at least greatly reduces the chance of annoying noises when walking on a hard floor.
