Your floor needs to be restored to its original state without the presence of residues of wrong cleaning products. James Basic Cleaner ensures that the hard floor is completely clean and in many cases no more disturbing noise can be heard. After cleaning with James Basic Cleaner it is recommended to use James Floor Cleaner Clean & Quick Dry for daily cleaning. This cleaner does not leave any residue on the floor, which means that friction due to soap residues cannot occur.

This treatment may not solve the problem completely or may only be a temporary. If the floor in its original state was already slippery and a disturbing noise was already noticeable with certain footwear this problem cannot be solved by this method. Don’t panic, we have another ace up our sleeve! Applying a protective layer by means of James Extra Matt or James Semi Gloss is then another option. Applying a protective layer adjusts the degree of friction between the shoes and the hard floor, which in most cases solves or at least greatly reduces the chance of annoying noises when walking on a hard floor.
