Removes stubborn stains from hard floors without causing unnecessary damage to the floor.
James Remover is a powerful stain remover for moisture-resistant hard floors. This product was specially developed to remove stains and residues that cannot be removed by regular mopping, such as black shoe marks, felt-tip pen, ink, ballpoint pen, cosmetics, grease, oil, paint, varnish, and waterproof adhesive residue.
James Remover works as a combined adhesive, stain, and dirt remover. This loosens stubborn stains, allowing you to blot them up with a cotton terry cloth towel. Here’s how to safely and effectively remove tough stains without resorting to harsh chemicals such as benzine, turpentine, or nail polish remover.
Use James Remover when there is a visible, stubborn stain on your hard floor that won’t come out with regular mopping. Think of shoe marks, dried paint, felt-tip pen, ballpoint pen, ink, grease, oil, nail polish, or glue residue. Stains like these require targeted treatment rather than just a regular cleaning.
James Remover is especially useful in case of accidents where the wrong products are used by mistake. It is best not to use benzine, turpentine, sticker remover, or nail polish remover, as these substances can cause dull spots or permanent damage. With James Remover, you can treat the stain precisely and in a way that’s suitable for hard floors.

When should you use James Remover?
Use James Remover when a stain requires extra strength and precision. For example, after doing crafts, painting, doing home improvement projects, moving, or when something that dries quickly or sticks has been spilled on the floor. James Remover can also help remove black streaks left by shoes or rubber.
This product is not intended as a daily floor cleaner for the entire floor. For routine maintenance, use James Floor cleaner Clean & Quick dry. For streaks, sticky residue, or built-up grime on a larger floor area, choose James Basic Cleaner. James Remover should be applied topically, directly to the stain.
Suitable for these surfaces
James Remover is suitable for various types of moisture-resistant hard floors. Always check to make sure your floor can withstand moisture, and if in doubt, test the product first on an inconspicuous area. Be especially careful when working around seams, joints, protective coatings, and delicate finishes.
Suitable for, amongst other things:
- Laminate
- Vinyl, PVC, LVT
- Linoleum, Marmoleum, Rubber
- Ceramic tiles
- Natural stone, Artificial stone
- Epoxy Floors
How do you use James Remover?
Always use James Remover undiluted and apply it directly to the stain. Spray the product directly onto the stain and let it sit for about 1 to 5 minutes. Next, wipe up the loosened dirt with a cotton terry towel.
For stubborn stains, you can gently scrub them with a soft brush or plastic spatula. Work carefully and avoid damaging the floor. After removing the stain, always rinse the treated area thoroughly with clean water. Work carefully around glue seams and let James Remover sit there only briefly. The product should not pull at the seam.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below you will find the most frequently asked questions. Is yours not on the list? That gives us a good reason to get in touch with one another. Our customer service team will be happy to help you.
Can James Remover make my floor look dull?
When used correctly, James Remover is designed for safe, localized stain removal on suitable hard floors. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on sensitive, matte, or treated floors.
Can I use James Remover on a floor with a protective coating?
In that case, be extra careful. Use only a small amount of the product, don’t let it sit on the skin longer than necessary, and wipe the area thoroughly right away. Test it first, because a protective coating may react differently than the floor itself.
Why shouldn't James Remover be applied to seams or adhesive joints?
James Remover is a powerful stain and adhesive remover. If the product seeps into seams or adhesive joints, it may have an undesirable effect there. Therefore, work briefly, in small areas, and always in a controlled manner.
What should I do if the stain doesn't come out completely?
Do not leave the area wet for an extended period of time, but repeat the treatment carefully. If necessary, use a plastic spatula to gently remove any loose residue, and be sure to rinse with clean water each time.
Can I use James Remover on large surfaces?
No, James Remover is intended for spot removal. For larger surfaces, built-up grime, or a floor that simply won’t get clean, use James Basic Cleaner.
